An update in the Sony rewards program means that the PlayStation trophies that you collect can, in turn, become PSN credit vouchers which would allow you to purchase games, DLC, TV shows and movies, which in simple words means that you can buy games by playing games. However, it will not be so easy to earn these vouchers, you will have to play a lot. According to Sony, 100 silver point will earn you 100 Sony reward points, 25 gold trophies will earn you 250 points and 10 platinum trophies will get you 1000 points. If you want to convert these points into PSN vouchers, it will cost you 1000 points to earn $10 worth of credit. This means that if you want to but a game worth 60 dollars, you will have to do some serious gaming. However, there are many other ways also to get points. However, this offer is only available in unites states. Secondly, the trophies or points earns before the start of this offer won’t count toward your total. Points are also earned on a calendar year basis, so you have only got this month and December to add points to your 2017 total. This also means that the points expire and can only be redeemed within the year
With all the glittery stuff that gamers will get, there is definitely some gloomy news for the PlayStation fans. Firstly, the trophies can only be converted to real worth bucks in the United States of America. Secondly, any reward points earned before the inception of this Sony Rewards Program will not be considered for the total worth. As the reward earning a point is only workable within this year so gamers only have the next 2 months for earning the bucks as much as they could. The points are temporary and expire within a year so they must be utilized within the gaming-year or latest before the fall of March of every year.
