Pakistan all set to welcome the World XI

Pakistan vs World XI-Tickets on sale

On 1st of September, the tickets for World XI versus Pakistan’s three T20 matches went online at www.eticketing.pk. The T20 matches are scheduled to take place at Gadhafi Stadium in Lahore on 12th, 13th, and 15th of this month, September. Cricket fans are desperate for the revival of international cricket in Pakistan and this limited series of 3 matches will satisfy them a bit.

According to the online site, the tickets range from Rs. 500 up to Rs. 8000 depending on the seat position and different enclosures. General enclosures will have seats worth Rs. 500 while the premium enclosures will cost Rs. 2500. The range of luxurious seats starts from the first class enclosure where the seat price is Rs. 4000 per person, then comes the VIP area which will put have every seat worth Rs. 6000 and then lastly the VVIP stands will have seats each costing Rs. 8000 which will cater its audiences with sofas and refreshments throughout the match.

The security will be under the management of armed forces. The Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Shareef, has assured that all security arrangements have been made and all pertinent institutions are involved in chalking out the plan to make this event a success.

The World XI team will be led by the South African player, Faf Du Plessis. The 15 player squad consists of notable players from all across the world. Eminent players like Hashim Amla, Morne Morkel, David Miller, George Bailey, Darren Sammy, Paul Collingwood, Grand Elliot, Tamim Iqbal, Thisara Perera, Imran Tahir and several others will join the World XI team. Pakistan’s team will be led by the skipper, Sarfaraz Ahmad.

The team led by Sarfaraz will consist of players like Fakhar Zaman, Ahmed Shehzad, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Umar Amin, Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Fahim Ashraf, Hasan Ali, Aamer Yamin, Mohammad Amir, Rumman Raees, Usman Khan, and Sohail Khan.
