Microsoft is releasing a number of patches for fixing the bugs of the operating system only for Windows 10. The shocking part of this news is that these patches are not introduced for Windows 7 or 8 because they are the older versions and due to the lack of patches available, they are much more prone to cyber attacks.
Flaws and loopholes in the coding systems of Windows 7 or 8 are directly exposed to cyber-attackers and hackers now as no updates are being introduced that could secure the older versions of Windows from malwares. With Windows 10, users get Anniversary update and Creator’s update which are both aimed at protecting and consolidating systems against any external malfunctions.
It must be known that a vast majority of PC users still have Windows 7 and Windows 8 installed on their computers, while Microsoft’s initiative to just fix the weaknesses of Windows 10 is putting other versions on the verge of cyber attacks.
The updates and patches are set to improve memory optimization, information processing, and consolidated firewall.

It is unethical to see how companies try to outdate their own previous devices by not introducing updates for them. Apple and Microsoft have been topping the list of companies that introduce new updates or patches that would slow down their previous devices. The software needs to be in line with the hardware upgrade, the update schedules must be in compliance with each other.
