The all new Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII includes a new interior feature for which the company had to establish an entirely new separate production area inside the Rolls Royce factory. This new interior feature is called the ‘GALLERY’. It is a new kind of dashboard decoration. Instead of wood or a metal trim, a perfectly sealed shatter proof glass runs across most of the dashboard giving the interior a graceful and exquisite look. Inside this glass, the owner of this elegant car can put anything they want because the area is spacious. Customers can choose from a number of designs or they can custom built their own ‘GALLERY’. The Phantom is powered by a 563-horsepower, 6.75-liter turbocharged V12 engine which is extremely powerful so the car is not only stylish but also a road ruler in terms of drive. Despite weighing nearly three tons, it can accelerate to 60 miles an hour in about five seconds, according to Rolls-Royce.The cars eight-speed transmission
Despite weighing nearly three tons, Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII can accelerate to 60 miles an hour in about five seconds, according to Rolls-Royce. The Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII’s eight-speed transmission is connected to a satellite navigation system so that the car can select a proper gear depending on the type of the landscape it is about to drive on. The first customers of the new Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII will receive their cars by the end of this year.
The target market for Rolls Royce has always been the high-income groups who belong to significant designations. This car is a grandiose and magnificent state of the art vehicle that is luxurious and environmentally friendly to some extent.
The brand chief of Rolls Royce, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, when asked about recent end on combustion by 2040 stated that,
“Rolls-Royce will start to go electric in the next decade, You need to have then an effortless charging situation, as its wealthy clientele isn’t in the mood to spend more than “a couple of minutes” topping up batteries.”
In upcoming years, it is probable that most of the companies will transform their production approaches to those of Tesla and start the establishment of electric cars which will be expensive but ecologically friendly.
