Homecoming Hiatus-The Paladins are 10-0 in the last 10 homecoming games. However, the Paladins haven't played in a week, coming off a loss at home to Elon. Rusty play will not help the Paladins. Where's Webb?-Against Elon, Furman's senior reciever had only 2 catches for 7 yards. While the Paladins have spread the ball around, Webb's down-field presence hasn't been felt. Look for Webb to have a big game, and hopefully a few deep receptions against the Bulldogs.

Passer's Protection-With QB Jordan Sorrells rolling right and left, the offense struggled. Against a weaker defensive line, the Paladins should be able to protect and allow Sorrells to throw with his feet set.

Defensive Dominance?-The Furman defense bent, but it didn't break against an explosive Elon offense. Has the defense improved? Can it do it again? There's no reason why not.

Final Score-Furman 31 Samford 14
